Lake Cumberland State Resort Park
Description: Primary viewing is along 5-mile entrance drive to lodge. Wildflowers such as phlox, fire pink, and lily dot the park.

Wildlife to Watch: Located on 50,250-acre Lake Cumberland, this site is known for numerous white-tailed deer,striped skunk, and gray squirrel. Upland hardwood forest provides spring and summer homes for migratory songbirds such as scarlet tanager, eastern bluebird, titmouse, vireos, wrens, chickadees, goldfinches, and a variety of warblers.

Other Activities: Nature center offers a full-time naturalist, guided tours, additional viewing information, and access to a 4-mile loop nature trail. Special events throughout year, daily programs Memorial Day to Labor Day. Full-service marina; horseback riding (seasonal).
