In winter, snowmobilers and crosscountry skiers enjoy the added benefit of outstanding scenery on 8 miles of designated trails.

Wildlife to Watch: Lucky visitors may encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including whitetailed deer, red foxes, woodchucks, raccoons, eastern gray squirrels, cottontail rabbits, beavers, geese, ducks, finches, warblers, hawks or woodpeckers. Bald eagles and northern river otters have sometimes been spotted.

Special Tips: The park is open year-round, but hours vary by season. There is a vehicle entrance fee. Hunting is allowed in designated areas during deer season.
